| The shovellers were doing their thing, swirling lake water and pulling out food. |

| The best was the titmouse encounter. They are so trusting. I set the nuts on post just to show how willing they are to come close. They were eating out of my hand, but there's no way to shoot that, so I used someone else's hand. Total magic. They fly into hand, maybe grab something fast, often stay a while and study nuts and human face. Perfect magic for Jan, 1st. |
