Stingers and things

Somebody brought two totes into the park and a swarm of possessive bees took a liking to whatever was in the totes, human attacking bees. I got stung, people ran screaming. Panic time. The cops were called, but I didn't stick around to watch. This was a first for me, vicious bees laying claim to this goody.

Around the corner the hermit thrush barfed up a big berry. This took two seconds.

Female scarlet tanager came in to bathe.

and my favorite.... it's hummer time.

This may be a young male. There's a spot of red on the throat.
