Fun kinglet

This is always a game. Stop! Stop!  Not in a kinglet's vocabulary.

Finally I saw a bit of the ruby crown

Exactly one month ago in the garden. Female cardinal working the sunflower seeds.

Drill  master and berry hunter, the sapsucker

Didn't want to move closer and spook this bird

                  Hermit thrush at other end of garden.

November beautiful

 Bluebirds in November.  Posting on the iPad. I didn’t know I could do this.

From the 20th in the garden

"Salad" days. squirrel thinks sunflower stalk is celery.

Male finch in for a sip.

Berries not yet ready. Starling checks them out.

When it's frigid I won't go out birding.

The regulars

Humans go to the market. Starlings pick droppings of the sidewalk. Free.

The two second Wilson's warbler flitted by.   I saw the whole bird in 2008.
