Fledgling searching

I wish the robin  kids had ID tags. It's hard figuring out which nests they jumped out of, but behavior is clear. The latest fledglings want feeding.
The older kids are beautiful and mostly independent.

The young sparrows, yellow beaked, are a joy to watch.
I didn't post on this blog yesterday, because I posted on the opera lenz blog, Gabriella Tucci.

Empty nest

Third baby has fledged. I hear that baby in a tall tree, but can't see the bird. There are lots of juveniles in this space, younger and older.
I think this is Alpha baby demanding food.
Older juveniles can feed themselves now.
The sparrows are seed eaters in this patch.

Robin society

The runt is still in the nest... bigger, stronger... will leave the nest soon.
Previous generation robins, but not from this brood.

They're hanging around this space because there are mulberries on the ground. Easy food.
Sunning sparrow is a great face. Boss male sparrow.
