The Peek-a-boo finches

Oh, those service berries are so delicious, finch magnets.
 

In the back garden the female finches are working the pine trees for bits.

Back in front, berries. That doesn't mean the male is cooperative, munch munch.

The berries taste good. I know. I eat them too.

A thing of beauty

A thing of beauty is a joy forever. I've been watching Alfred Hitchcock movies.
 

Pigeon has been bathing, also molting. Real life, not movie magic.

Young robin growing into adult shape.

At least the white throated sparrow was fully adult.

A stroll in the park

Bluejays less skittish than in our garden. Yummy bee, alas.

Look for food.

Of course one meets rats in the park. They have to live too.

Magical moment

A private moment, the female finch taking a sun rest on window ledge back garden. I was in the lobby shooting through glass trying not to spook this sweet bird. I've never seen this before. Enchanting. Notice purple beak fromberry juice.
