Robin Face-off
I've seen face-offs before. They usually take a few seconds. This went on close to a half hour, mature male vs immature robin, each laying claim to bathing space. They both got clean eventually.
A starling joined the brawl, but only stayed a few seconds.
The most beautiful immature robin I've ever seen, a real survivor.
Lunch was mulberries.
Across the way the other robins were anting in the bright sun.

Robin's nest
There are two active robin nests not far from each other, both with three nestlings at home. Almost impossible to see action, very well hidden in leaves.
Great nest constructed wit natural materials. This is the first time in four years that I'm not seeing nests incorporating covid masks.

The doves are back
The doves are back in same nest site as last year's green babies. Incubation time. I get the dove stare. Strong nest. Lots of twigs.
Great location because the mulberry tree nearby is dropping berries filled with seeds, -vital park of dove diet.
