Baby sitting

Into the park thinking I'll see some variety. There in my face- robin family.
Papa flew off and left baby alone. There was no way I was going to leave that baby unattended in hawk-lunch territory.
Baby exploration.  Salad on the menu?
Oh my God, it actually found some protein.
Finally, Papa returned, gave baby fruit and they  flew off together.
Heading home later, on a 69th street stoop.

Missed these

Got caught up in the garden robins and forgot to post these, nest collections at Tanners.  There had been rain and the puddle became a proper pond, lots of mud and easy worm  pickin's.
An ad for Gitzo,  handy tripod.
More to follow....

Little people

Someone has been digging in the dirt.
Papa with food. Kid not interested.
No, no, no... don't eat a leaf!
Very slow meal. No hysterical interest in worms. Strange reaction to catering service.

Parental guidance

The Papas are taking their kids to were the food is. Big kids, persistent kids,  funny kids. They'll learn to come to this corner to hunt for worms.
A lesson: food-on-the-fence.
Ah, the relief of a rain puddle.
A third family, the Squeakers who live mostly under the bushes now under the bench for lunch.
