Male cardinal collecting food for either mate or children. Bugs and more bugs.
 

Another red handsome, the male finch. I wouldn't mind this on my window ledge.

Loads of female finches, mature and immature.

Pigeons doing lots of nothing.

Pick and gulp

It's the berry season. Don't pluck.Pick up and gulp. Hopefully.

It's close to the end of this berry bush season. Male finch having  his lunch.
 

Down by the river the sparrows were doing hummingbird imitation, hovering over something I couldn't see.

The starlings don't miss a berry opportunity.

Lazing around

When it's thick hot the birds know what to do, chill out
 

This was one of the loveliest moments I've ever seen, robin sunbathing

No sparrows actively nesting in the wall hole now. Obviously a fledgling got snared upon exit.

Meanwhile inches away the robins are dining.  I don't think they recognize death.
