


Thunk! That was the sound at the window. I know that sound. It means a bird has arrived. If it's a small bird it can stun itself. This morning's arrival wasn't stunned, one mourning dove. It may have been on a balcony a few floors above and arrived on my window ledge in its downward flight. Hard to tell. It stayed a while, showed no distress and finally took off. Pretty little thing.
