Watching for hawks and just happened to turn around. Treasure- Carolina wren- right behind my back. The food was in the log, so it wasn't going to fly off.




But eventually it did fly off, because a hawk flew into the area obviously on-the-hunt.
I won't go back into the park until the paths are clear. There's ice under the snow layer, a bit too risky for me.
