Went downstairs to watch for robins. Instead, right into my path came the ovenbird. Right on schedule, a spring delight. Hard to photograph, continual movement, very distinctive plodding walk. Sweet little thing.
And there was Mrs. Robin, home construction time. Lots of building material available.
Guardian of her turf, chasing away any other potential homebuilders.
Our little water fountain (bath) provides nest mulch.
