Straight out the door into our garden. Wabbit on the loose. My eyes popped out. No problem though. This is Beetle, a neighbor's pet out for a romp. I don't think this is such a good idea, but obviously Beetle knows where his carrots come from and didn't hop off. Neighborhood dogs merely gawked.
Young common yellow throat, male.
Double-dipping female. This was good.
Horrifying. Sparrow caught in vine, but before I could get over there to disentangle sparrow it managed to right itself and get itself free.
The joy for all birders, the hooded warbler.
And finally my favorites, the hummers.
