Lunch

Bread for lunch. The whole process is fascinating to watch. Bread can be rammed down the gullet, or gently placed, or used for "tug-of-war".  This kid has to learn to do for himself. Mama was so patient. The fledglings assume the nest position, lower than parent, when being fed.

That's good for about two minutes.
