If this doesn't beat all!

There was a rock walking around downstairs.  Ran for the camera. I knew what it was, a hermit crab. A hermit crab???!! On West End Avenue??!!  I have no idea how it got here, but there it was. Of course I had to pick it up to get an underside picture. And back  on the sidewalk it just looked like another rock.  When this critter outgrows the shell it's not going to be easy finding another house.

So what's the next goofy surprise going to be????
