| Sometimes it's very hard to balance serious work and birding. Certainly birding is calmer. The male black-throated blue warbler flew into this space followed shortly by the female. Nice. |

| I overheard a mother identified this plant for her child, the balloon plant. I'm not any better with the ID, so this will have to stay precisely that. It dries, bursts open and makes magic. |
