There are still a lot of baby robins, but the earlier generation are doing just fine, self sufficient. Our garden robins are picking their own food. |

I heard the baby voice in the deep leaves, the "feed me now!" call. Not easy to see what was going on. The parent arrived with food. But WHAT food????? I couldn't see what this was, but it certainly wasn't going to fit. |
The baby continued to call for food before flying into deeper cover. I think this "food" was some kind of fruit, but it was the impossible meal.
