Through the fence

Yes, it's spring and I expect to see the migrating birds. Here, the palm warbler.

But I can't ignore behavior. I came upon this pair knowing what I'd see in an impossible shooting situation, fence in way. The female cardinal was "talking" to her mate.

Male was crunching up food.

He ever so gently fed her. This is one of the sweetest sights in nature.

He crunched more nut and continued to feed her.

I've seen this often and never fail to smile and feel happy. It's so simple, so good, loving couple.
