West 70th Street in front of the school, heading to West End when I sensed something above. Oh fun, a cooper's hawk being pestered by our resident silly squirrel, Brownie. Cooper's prefer birds for lunch, but if annoyed enough they will swipe a squirrel. |

The wing span is about 31" |
The squirrel survived to tease another day. Lots of pigeons feeding on ground in this space today so I know the hawk has relocated.
