Ready to leave home. Bot parents feeding their kids. They'll need the body mass once they leave the nest.
No exit from this side. "Crib" twigs for safety.
Worms and cranberries.

Feed me!
The two dove kids have left the nest, now in space under nest. In two days they will be in a new space, maybe together, maybe not.
Backyard nest, terrific family.
Parent removing fecal sac. They are fastidious housekeepers.
These kids will leave the nest soon.

Favorite spring subject
Great nest in back yard, well build, good protection, attentive parents.
Around the corner on the avenue, two new fledglings. I'll babysit for them, because they tend to wander onto the sidewalk.
The face I love.

An easy morning
First stop was a check at the fuse box. These young doves will fledge soon.
Right over my head there was movement. Oh boy, the male black and white warbler..
Time for peek-a-boo between the leaves. Photo challenge.
With this you can see how small this bird is, smaller than a sparrow.
Eyeballed by the catbird. I'm trying to find their nest.
Ovenbird sitting for a change.
This robin is having a bad hair day.
Down near West End a new fledge.... adorable robins, two of them. Just out of nest.
This one is going to grow up to be the Godfather.

Home construction
One twig at a time, dove construction. I hope this will be a viable home.
Catbird looking for food. I'm sure they're nesting here, but haven't found nest yet.
Beautiful clean wove nest. Robin parents are fastidious house keepers.
A "what's that" bird.
