Usually I see the palm warbler from a distance running in the grass finding bits of things to eat. Come to think of it, I've never seen a palm warbler in a tree. Yesterday I spotted this palm eating near where the hooded warbler was hunting. I hoped that it would feel safe and come closer. It trusted me so I got to see this warbler closer than I've ever seen one before.
