No owl today. I went out late this afternoon, almost dusk, though who could tell,- dark, dismal, damp. But all was calm, -little birds feeding, squirrels scampering, ducks calm, even three kinglets, so I knew that the owl was not in the vicinity. I did see a Cooper's hawk circling above, but no peril-fearing behavior from the birds. Since it was growing dark this was a good opportunity to try the camera at ISO 2500. Satisfactory results. Murk looks good. I saw no birders. Maybe I was the only nut out looking for the owl.
