A forgotten stroll

Sometimes a day's take is edited, but then not blogged due to more exciting things going on. These images were taken on April 30th. Stroll-time began at Riverside Park, hawk nest still occupied. The squirrel was busy family/nest planning two trees away from the hawk nest. Not smart! No infant squirrels survive to maturity in the hawks' space.

After Riverside Park it was off to Central Park. Nice surprise. Towhee bath time (male).
