Blown-down bits

After last winter with no tufted titmice it's very nice to see clusters of them now.
Knock, knock, anyone home?


The harsh winds have blown down all sorts of delicious tidbits. Titmouse near my feet finding goodies. First, I had to be checked out.

Oh yum, a nut to be cracked open.

Back to look for more.

Mmmmmm, a grub. Take to branch and dine.

Definitely a well fed titmouse.

I was aware of what the wind was doing and checked branches and sounds before standing in any spot.
