Back to Saturday. Lots of variety. Sunday was a noisy day, March for the Cure day. I think the birds took cover. Or maybe it was that Saturday there were more bugs. Bugs = warblers (with any luck).
The flitting magnolia warbler.
There were bugs in the grass. Also on the ground in this area, a water thrush, a couple of redstarts, and this red-eyed vireo.
A more typical vireo location, in a berry bush.
The redstart
This suprised me. A dog came along, so the redstart went to hide in the jewelweed patch.
A parula also going after bugs.
At the close of exploration I have to stop at the jewelweeds for a dose of hummer.
