Slowing down

The goal is to spot warblers this time of year, but it's very hard especially when it's ultra humid. There were several common yellow throat females. Pretty little thing.
Then something different flew into my space. Joann, another birder helped ID this, a tennessee warbler. I'd never seen one before.

Pretty soon the hummers will be gone, so I really want to watch them while they're here, fewer and fewer. Where there's jewelweed there might be grosbeaks. Success yesterday.

I knew it would fly off. I was hoping to see red under its wings.

Back to Tinkerbell. There's a pattern, sip a while, rest a while. Guard the turf!
