I've never before gotten to talk to a coot. Cute coot seemed to listen.
Turned left. Jeez..... what's that mallard trying to eat???? A chestnut!
Must have learned this trick from the grackles. Soak chestnut and hope it slithers down the hatch. (It didn't.)
I forgot to bring bits for the titmice. Next time.
Never expected this, but it is warm and drinking makes sense. Lovely cedar waxwings.
