Pictures speak for themselves. I know starlings are brat birds, but the kids make me laugh. There is no other sound else like the roar of the young starling.
I came around the corner just in time to see Mama Turtle burying her eggs.
Nest well hidden, she then dashed (turtle style) into brush and skidded down the rock, toboggon style, right into the lake. I hope the raccoons don't discover this nest.
