How do you find young hawks? Listen. Their call will tell you exactly where they are. This is the first post from July 9th. I've tried to group them by impressions.... the beauty, the activities on ground and in trees, eating, resting....... I'll do a second post this afternoon. I can't stop watching, the beauty of their bodies, the magic of their eyes, the splendor of the wing span, their ability to concentrate. This was a steamy day. This first group is mostly calling, resting, preening.
