The morning after fledging I went searching for the baby and finally found it in the corner on a low branch, safe place to be. By the afternoon I couldn't find it. |
Two days later, still looking for the doves. Aha, back garden, adult dove. The baby must be nearby. |
Sure enough, big baby, easily identifiable by white shoulder feathers. |
I didn't have to go close. A 600mm lens does the work. Gorgeous baby. Because the doves are in back garden doesn't mean they'll stay there. They're all strong flyers.
