The redbelly woodpecker

I've been hearing the call of the woodpecker for a couple of days. Finally bird came down low enough for pictures, but not for long. No way to get closer. The lights in the background are from windows in the building behind this tree. Bird stayed only 40 seconds. I showed the pictures to a neighbor. Her reaction, "I hate that bird. Drilled my roof in the country. Lots of damage. Costly repair". Woodpeckers do what they gotta do.  Drill!
