White throated sparrows

There's competition for berries, territorial, fierce fights sometimes, so the birds are wary. The catbird on alert.
 

The robin from up north also on alert.

The white throated sparrow had it a lot easier, head of sunflower on ground. Easy dining. No competition.

Bye bye birdy  off to other side of garden.

                                            Of course Scamp has to watch everything.
