Upsidedown, etc.

I would love to be able to walk upside down outside a building. There's a cluster of nuthatches up near Sparrow Rock. I've watched them for a couple of days as they explore tree crevices for edibles. Left, right, up, down, ring-around-the-tree-trunk.

I think this tidbit was stashed by a bird lover. Method: hunt and peck.

but this tidbit was plucked out of the bark by the nuthatch.... it may have stashed this bit earlier.

I decided to try an experiment, scattered some cashew bits at the base of the tree. The nuthatch came down off the tree and took the treat. Acorns and other bits on the ground, but it took the cashew. Neat.
