Refreshingly spring

Buds, grooming, worm plucking....... refreshing. The skittish flicker. Very hard to get closer.

Blast of red amidst the grey/ brown branches.

The red bellies were calling back and forth.

A little personal hygiene.

And, predictably, juicy worms to be scarfed down in two seconds, if not faster.
