So what does Mama do? Drops nesting material and goes worm hunting.
But after lunch she resumed gathering nest materials, phew!

I've seen this yellow bellied sapsucker before. It's making swiss cheese out of this tree.

I was watching something else when this sparrow gang -bang took place, maybe two seconds out in the open and then into the bushes accompanied by a lot of noise.

This was what I was watching when the sparrows so rudely interrupted.
