Oh, the noise!

I heard the screaming before I saw what was going on.

Ah, there's the food source, someone's dropped food bag, probably a school picnic.

There was a bluejay alert scream (hawk?) so most of the starlings flew off. An hour later all the food was gone.

Off in another field more screamers

I think the parents are parental for 48 hours. After that the kids are on their own. Survival of the smartest.
