More Riverside activities

Mama Hawk paused in her home-building activities to sit in the crook of a tree and watch for potential lunch. Lots of squirrels in this area.

While she perched Papa Hawk arrived and took up the serious branch-selection process.

Mama sat and sat and watched and watched, infinite patience.

Mama HAwk changed perches for a higher overall view and the squirrels either froze in the tree or taunted her knowing full well that she wouldn't be able to capture them while in the tree. Squirrel chutzpah.
