After migration

The mirating birds have flown north. That doesn't mean that there's nothing to see in the park. I'm merely following my nose.


One totally weird "bird".

And an I-don't-know-what.

Someone has been eating red berries.

What caught my eye was the one claw on this robin's right foot. It's for real. It shows in four pictures. An outgrown toe nail???

Couldn't get closer. Not a berry eater. One fast egret.

Down the hatch.

Probably siblings, slightly inept, also obviously dining on red berries.
