It can be so beautiful on a hot, muggy day. I was heading to my favorite mulberry tree.

Horrors!!!! The tree has been chopped down, all the fruit on the ground, tree gone. This tree fed all the area birds- orioles, robins, starlings, jays, sparrows, me- and now it's no more. I don't know why it was selected for death, but I am disgusted. Another useful tree slaughtered.

Over at the Spring the robins are collecting materials for their next nest.

Sparrows collect "whatever".
This is from my archive, too funny not to share. Yummy!
