The family

The quest for the morning is to find the baby dove. The female cardinal is in a bright area of garden. I'll walk around listening and looking.
Oh my goodness, the dove family is in the same place the baby chose the day before. They've been there for a while. Notice poop evidence.
The baby has been used to be under the parent. Now this is the big wide world. It takes a bit of adjusting to.
This baby is ready to be fed.
Finally family on ground and baby being fed, back to camera, naturally.  I don't know if I'll be able to find them again. They'll find a new space. That's the way it is with doves. This morning was a rare pleasure.
