Another youngster

The first clue was a persistent "peep peep". Follow the sound. Oh my goodness, a young mockingbird. It wasn't doing mockingbird "verbalization". It was "talking" babytalk. I never saw one at this age before. It was looking for food, running along the ground, and flashing insects. I didn't see it find anything edible.

Next time I'm in this area I'll be sure to have fresh berries. I want this sweet youngster to grow up strong.
