Still watching for hummers.... any day now, but in the meantime it's fun to see who's growing ip and who else is appearing.
Young catbird, curious and enjoying berries.



Every berry gets studied until a decision is made and then there's a lunge-grab for the perfect berry. Hundreds of berries, but only a select few are chosen.


Young starlings also maturing.

Mourning dove looking happy.

Common yellow shafted flicker. Haven't seen one in a while.

Flash of yellow of another sort, the female redstart. Flash and gone.

Finally, a visible black-and-white warbler.

If it stops raining I can head back out on a hummingbird search.
