Mama Robin is doing her thing. Whatever that is. An incubating robin usually sits on the nest 50 minutes of every hour. This one seems to take off for hours at a time. I think she missed the lesson on how to incubate. I'll be very surprised if anything hatches from this clutch of eggs. Meanwhile, the black-throated blue warbler is back in the fountain bathing. He is so handsome. This came as a huge surprise, 12:30pm bath time. I would have expected him to have already headed North. I guess he's enjoying our hospitality.
