Observing jay behavior

The bluejays are attentive outside and inside the nest. If another bird intrudes it gets dive-bombed. Obviously they trust me.

I know there are babies up there, but I can't see all the behavior. Do they clean the nest? Do they catch the fecal sacs? At times they appear to be pecking at the babies. If these were robins that behavior would be to remind a baby to deliver the fecal sac. Visibility into this nest is problematic, but it's a perfect jay nest, good depth to hide babies.

Off to get more food. Mama stays on nest. Papa hunts for food.
I wonder who's going to incorporate this into a nest. It didn't get up there on its own.
