Youngest Fuzzy

I've met lots of starlings, Brat Pacs,... Worm collection = nestlings,  but I didn't need that clue because I heard the baby calling. The call is distinctive, a roar that can be heard two blocks away.  I think this is the youngest fledgling starling I've ever met, possibly just out of the nest. Yes, it can fly. It did that to leave the nest, but at this stage it's a better runner than flyer.

                                                                     Fuzzy, the runner.

The backyard robins are also feeding babies, nestlings this time.

I hope the catbird finds a mate and makes a family.
