Termite hatch

There's a wooden tool box in back garden. Every May it births termites. There's no set schedule. You just have to hit it right.  I saw a few termites take flight and knew what was coming. They crawl out, dry off, take flight. Feast time. I prayed for warblers, but none in the garden. A good hatch-out only lasts about 8 minutes.

However, the sparrows don't  miss a feast.

Fuzz was in same space demanding food from parent. French fries again?

Fuzz, who has less fuzz, was walking around in the driveway while I was watching termite hatch. He walked to and sat down by my shoes, too close for pictures. Then he walked right over my shoes and continued north. Dumb kid.
