In the garden

This is the first breeding season without a low-down nest, but the nests must have been in the high trees, because the fledglings are obvious.
The beggar knows how to pick a bit on his own.
There were three kids in the bushes ... left, right and center.
Oh great,  land on the AC repair man's truck.

What's fascinating, and I've seen this before,  the fledglings are here for about four days and then they vanish.  There can be as many as ten little ones and then there are none, no signs of violence either.
