Strip mining

Is this gorgeous??  A tweeny robin, almost adult.
Then there were the juvenile starlings playing at being woodpeckers.
The best was this downy. There were two downies, but there was a face-off and one flew off which left this log available for strip "mining".
We're all used to the rat-a-tat routine. This was totally different.
It's possible that the bark peeled off this easily due to the high humidity.  I went to the market and bought a couple of mangos.  And one banana.
