I may never have to photograph a female redstart again, but I know that's not true. "Yellow start" arrives and displays and the camera has to go to work. Sweet flitters. There were so many gnats the the birds had no care about human presence.

Suddenly into this space came more yellow, a gorgeous gold finch.
