Garden, 2 weeks ago

Hermit thrush gorging on berries
Mockingbird showed up. Totally camera shy.
White throated sparrows going at berries. I never knew they liked these berries.
The leaves have blown off now.  Can't post every day. Very busy shooting opera.

Garden fun continues

The tiny wren is hopping in grass, up to wall to spot bugs, back into grass, perfect tiny visitor.

Up above the starlings, robins, hermit thrushes are gobbling up berries.

Lots of flitting around

Once the kinglets find a fertile bug patch they stay put until they eat their fill.
Into the same space came the winter wren. Bugs enough for everyone.
The hermit thrush is happy above, berry gorging time.

Continued garden joy

Berries and bugs attract the regulars. And army of robins. These are robins arriving from up north. Our robins left town in August.
Winter wren finds bugs under the leaves. Find the tail, spot the wren.
Hermit thrushes are also gorging or staring at lens glass.
Endless sassy starlings
Ruby crown kinglet, also a bugger. You can see tiny spot of red on head. Female.
More will follow.  Editing hundreds of pictures.

Fun in the garden

This was a berry nice afternoon. Pluck and eat, or rip berry apart and eat.  Young female cardinal.
The hermit thrush
Hungry robin
Even the white throat sparrow was eating the berries.
Plucky starling
The kinglets go for bugs. At least a dozen kinglets were flitting around in the grass, ruby crowned kinglets
And the winter wren, also bugging in the grass. Easy to find in tall grass. Just look for tail.
