"Playing" with twigs

These are from my archive. Part of growing up involves exploring things on the ground. There can be edibles under logs and twigs/logs become strong nests.  Fun to watch as young hawk seemingly bounces off the trees.

Well, at least somebody found something to eat.

The coopers

I've been busy working on other projects so have not posted birds for a few days. These are from my archives, winter month Cooper's hawks, gorgeous intense hunters.
